The Victoria Secret Fashion Show 2016

It's that time of the year again, when the whole world stops to watch the Victoria Secret fashion show. Last year it was watched in over 190 countries, no doubt that this year it was even more popular as it was hosted in Paris for the very first time. The build up for the show was happening months in advance, and from watching it last night,it was all definitely worth it.

For the first time ever a sister duo was announced. Introducing Bella Hadid, sister of Gigi. Bella got through the casting stage and was announced an angel. This was an amazing opportunity for Bella, as we've never seen a sighting of Kendall's sister, Kylie, or even Cara's sister Poppy. Which means the Hadid sisters are going to be the 'it sisters' on everyone's radar.

The 2016 theme for the show was, A Very Private Affair. Inside that theme, the show was then divided into six sections & are as follows, The Road Ahead, Dark Angel, Secret Angel, Pink Nation, Mountain Romance & Bright Night angel.

Although so many people look forward to this show as it is one of the biggest of the year, some on the other hand don't look forward to it is much.

It showcases the years hottest models wearing the most expensive lingerie, living the most amazing lives.

Although its not Victorias Sectret's aim to make young girls all over the world doubt their beauty, but unfortunately that's what many young adolescents pick up from the show.

Thalia Heffernan who is a famous international Irish model, represented by the likes of Elite Model Management in London & PMA models in Germany, spoke out on instragram and posted an encouraging message to young woman.

"Everybody is beautiful, every mind is wonderful"

says 21-year-old-Thalia.

The likes of Adriana Lima & Taylor Hill were joined by guest performances by Bruno Mars, The Wknd & Lady Gaga. Attention was drawn to The Wknd & Bella Hadid as they used to be an item.

This year Jasmine Tookes was the chosen angel to strut her stuff wearing the $3m 450-carat Fantasy Bra (Imagine wearing a 3 million dollar bra, omg!!!!) The 25 year-old looked incredible as she rocked the run way in the lavishly-decorated Bright Night Fantasy Bra designed by Eddie Borgo. Jasmine was picked five months in advance and was sworn to secrecy util the big reveal, I'd definitely have the whole world told in 0.5 seconds if that was me.

The Bra featuring almost 9,000 precious gemstones, handset in diamonds & emeralds in 18-karat gold. For the perfect fit for Miss Tookes it was shaped in a mould of her own bust. Tookes revealed that former Fantasy Bra wearer Lily Aldridge gave her advice on how to cope with wearing the bra and how to own the catwalk.
