What an absolutely crazy headline to hear yesterday, but more importantly, whattt. For thoose of you who don't know, Alexandra Shulman is the editor of British Vogue. After working with the publication for 25 years, she has decided to call it quits in summer. Shulman has been Vogues longest serving editor, what an amazing achievement to be able to note.
Lat year she had the celebratory honour of creating Vogues 100th anniversary issue, landing Kate Middleton as cover girl. I read this morning on Sky news a few facts that I never even knew about Shulman, during her time in the publication. She number one, which I absolutely laughed at, was when she openly ditched Kate Moss as cover girl, only to replace her with Rihanna. The only reason she performed this act was so that the ever so famous Anna Wintour couldn't get there first. (SLAY GURL SLAYYYYY)
Can you imagine Wintours reaction? Heck i'd be scared to death. Shulman said she has been 'incredibly privileged to be involved'
Safe to say we sure will miss her, but we really are excited to see who will be next inline for the throne.
