Favourite new designer: Mira Mikati

Mira Mikati came to my attention on Instagram a few days and I'm absolutely loving her. She's a London-baed Lebanese designer who began her fashion career in 2007. I absolutely love her use of colour everything is so rainbow & out there. She's dressed so many of our favourite stars including Beyonce, Lady GaGa and so much more. I would describe her line as a mixture of Zara & Topshop but way more creativity and just beautiful use of colour.

Patches, embroidery & any old colours out together describe her perfectly.

I would do anything to have anything from this collection, its almost about embracing your inner freak, not caring about what anyone has to say or think about you I love it all it's amazing.

Her collection is now in it's second season and her Instagram shows the combination of fun, emojis, elegance all blended into grown up silhouettes.

Last summer she had a collaboration with artist, Takashi Murakami, Yoshitomo Nara, Darcel & KAWS. I love and I think it so important for brands to collaborate with the likes of artists or anyone, it gets more eyes on both parties & it really is an eye opener for all aspects of creativity. I know I've mentioned already about the collection being a combination of Zara & Topshop, but its also absolutely an adult version of The Lazy Oaf, so if you love that brand you will absolutely love this. definitely follow these on Insta, so many gorge pics to regram for your Instagram aesthetic & just general wardrobe Wishlist. Because I'm in awe of absolutely everything.
