My 5 most hated Met Gala looks

The Met Gala is one of the most talked about outings for fashion every single year. It's the one event that everyone on the fashion calendar looks forward. We all have a small bit of Anna Wintour inside, right?

So as the event is so controversial, many of the gowns were too. So many different styles & different opinions. So here are my top 5 hated gowns of this years event.

Cara Delevinge

Cara Delevingne

Everything about this look was just awful, I definitely think it's her new hair style. The whole thing was just all a bit much. The platinum hair just matched the suit and belt which she donned. She just looked like a horrible futuristic alien character. It was all awful.

Katy Perry

Well, when I first saw this whole outfit, no joke I thought it was Lady GaGa. I still can't get over the fact that it's little miss "I kissed a girl" & "Teenage Dream" This whole outfit is all just so wrong. You can't even see her face, it looks like she's in some sort of a messed up cult.

Kendall Jenner

Kendall Jenner

Well, miss Kendall is clearly taking this whole Kardashian nude trend way to far. This is just all kinds of awful & it's so not Kendall. Theres showing skin, and then there is showing skin. This is just way to much Kim Kardashian.

Bella Hadid

Can it get any worse? Cat suit central. Ok, I do get where she's coming from especially how it was probably the first appearance she's seen ex, The Wknd & his new girlfriend, Selena Gomez. So maybe Bella was trying to make a statement but definitely in the wrong way.

Even if either the shoes or the hair was somewhat different. But it's a no from me.

Jourdan Dunn

I guess this isn't all too bad, but its just not really Met Gala approved is it? To me it looks like something off the Zara high street. I'm certainly not saying that there is anything wrong with Zara. But this is just not right. it looks like something that even may have been put in the shredder & Miss Dunn is just dragging along.

Overall there was such a wide variation of dresses at this years event. But obviously there's something we would all change about our favourite stars & what they wore. But honestly the first weekend in May usually refers to the start of summer right? So surely designers & stylists would have thought that materials like velvet were a tad too wintery for the event & tights? Tights are just an all round no go for any big event. Tights for me are usually an accessory for day time, a day dress. Definitely not something I would even dream on wearing to a red carpet event. But ehh thats just me.

Hope you enjoyed reading this & let me know of your different opinions also.

Much love,

G x
