As my first year living in Nottingham closes, I thought I'd just jot down my favourite 5 places to visit.

1. The Pudding Pantry

The Pudding Pantry is the definition of a treat, somewhere to relax after a hectic day in the library, somewhere to chill with your laptop, somewhere just to wind down. The Pudding Pantry has it all. With their amazing hot & cold drinks menu, now offering breakfast & light bites throughout the day & night-time. The one thing that they're the most famous for are definitely their freakshakes. Beyond amazing whether you're a brownie or a amores kinda gal, they got you covered, more like covered in chocolate & marshmallow heaven.

2. Bills Restaurant

Bills is on of the Uk's top restaurant chains. It has the most amazing food all throughout the day & comes with the most niftiest student discount, 20% off. Perfect to bring your parents when there visiting (I bring my parents the whole time & their obsessed) Even to go for a cocktail or few with your friends its perfect. (I'd recommend the Raspberry Collins cocktail. Try it & you'll thank me later

3. Cartwheel Coffee

I just found this, place & I'm absolutely loving it. It's a shame I didn't know about it sooner as it's the perfect place to take a laptop, a change of scenery rather than the library or your flat. Also their coffee is absolutely amazing, nothing like an actual real cup. In uni were surrounded by Costa & Starbucks which are both fab & do the job, but it'll honestly be so hard to go back to them after trying this place. Also amazingly priced, I think I paid £2.30 for a latte, 7 for good quality coffee, thats amazing. I'll definitely be living in here once I'm back. Also it's only really good for us coffee lovers. But it's a must.

4. Wild Clothing

Wild is a vintage shop located in Hockley, Hockley is a really nice & must visit location in Nottingham City Centre. If your into vintage clothing this is the place for you, there is also COW, but I find it a tad over priced. Wild is a true gem, amazing prices & amazing stock. I never really had anything vintage before I moved to Nottingham but now I love it. I bought my famous trademark blue coat in there & I love it to bits.

5. Rough Trade

Rough Trade is located directly opposite Wild Clothing, so you'll see it when your on the little tour. Rough Trade is known for its music, creativity & self expression. Stepping inside this store would take all eyes of Nottingham, you could easily be in London, it's so different. I just love it. My favourite part of the building is definitely the Aesop store. I explored this when I was doing research for my fragrance project, And I just kept going back & visiting. It's amazing, especially the guy that works in there, he's so helpful & I could literally just talk to hm all day long. Also Aesop is an amazing brand, I've so many little mini testers which I love. Also apparently they stock The Ragged Priest in there, I've never seen it but I've just heard about it. Their renowned for their amazing denim work & jeans to die for.

So that's just my favourite 5 places in Notts at the moment, It could easily change by next week. It's amazing for food & little coffee roasters.

I'm already looking forward to 2nd year & exploring more in my favourite city.

Hope you enjoyed reading this & maybe take a trip along this little tour, you won't regret it.

Much Love,

G x
