Trend Alert: Statement Earrings

Earrings have always been a minor accessory to either dress up or dress down an outfit. Add pearls for that extra bit of sophistication or diamonds to make you feel out of this world.

I've never really been one to wear jazzy earrings, I wore all the colours at a young age, but in my teens I lost interest.

Last January we saw the gold hoop trend walk our streets & our girls night out. I certainly hopped on that trend train straight away, I wore them all the time. The goldness soon faded as summer arose, and clean blues and light colours came into our lives. Silver then took over all accessories.

And soon the silver hoop took over, looking back on gold now, it was so very tacky.

The hoops got bigger, the colours have changed and boom as soon as you pay attention you'll realise the hoop trend has faded & the bigger the better the statement is all in. Lets take a look at whats happening and on show.
