Hello all,

I haven't been blogging as much, just been enjoying some nice time off & free. So as a new Uni year approaches, its time to give ourselves all our accessories a little revamp, whether were gonna go matchy matchy (excuse the grammar but it's a good phrase), marble, glitter or whatever pop of colour, keep reading for all the latest fabulous pick up accessories, both online & on the high-street.

Safe to say, we all definitely need a new wardrobe for this time of the year, however i'm going to show off my favourite gems whether its for the kitchen area, room or on the go. You're definitely in for a treat.

So lets start with the kitchen area because it's definitely the area that we all need something a bit different for, lets face it everyone shops in Wilko cause it's so darn cheap & they literally have everything, EVERYTHING!!

The two things that always get lost for me straight away is cutlery & a baking tray, yes a baking tray. lol (just realised that this post is nowhere at all connected to fashion right now, but it'll get prettier, I promise)

The different the better so don't you dare going getting the all black cutlery sets or the block colour crockery, because I'm warning you already someone is going to definitely have the same. Been there done that!

Go for Gold!

Be different, go on I dare you. These are so fabulous from Zara Home. There on the bit more pricey side starting at £6 just for one piece, but there so worth it. Guaranteed not to get lost, cause lets face it, who else is gonna slay as well as you in the kitchen?

And as for baking trays, I'm not sure if you can purchase or even if theres such thing as a 'pretty baking tray' but I have seen that you can get a silicone sheet which come in many different colours which might jazz up your station a bit.

Okay so lets move away from the domestic stuff before you all fall asleep.

So let's move on swiftly & quickly then. Cute & Colourful notebooks are literally what got me through starting new projects last year. They make such a different & are so visually pleasing, they make you motivated to go to lectures. (well for a while anyway)

I picked up my most fabulous ones from TK Maxx, they always have such fabulous little finds in there & normally only one of everything so you know that your in for a treat.

So now, lets be cute

So lets face it, no matter whether your in a house or halls, your bedroom is still going to be your main living room. Your gonna be in there for alone time or having friends over, so you may as well keep it quirky & cosy. (says me, I'm literally the queen of messy rooms, my aim for this year is to definitely keep it tidier) Arn't these fairy lights from Urban Outfitters just the bomb, you even get to attach your own pictures. *gimme them now*

Or even have a look at some fairy lights on Pinterest, I've seen some really cute pictures of battery operated lights stuffed into a jam jar & it's so effective.

Imagine how cute four of these would look lined out on shelves above your desk or bed. Dreamy right. it's definitely something I'm going to try & complete this year. Instead of waiting on your flat mates to finish jam or honey, you can. Actually get the nifty jars quite easily in the likes of Poundland & Tiger. Definitely works out cheaper than buying jam you hate just for the jar.

Now it's time to kill it in your lecture halls & all around campus, shop Skinny Dip & their fabulous range of bags. So there you have it, my top picks for some must haves this uni season. Although it was probably quite boring to begin with, we got there in the end, by saving the best till last right!
