TREND UPDATE: Statment Earrings

Hello all,
So a few months ago I wrote a post on statement earrings, before they became a big deal.
Two pairs later & I'm completely obsessed. They're such a good accessory to have in your jewellery box, they can literally be worn with an outstanding outfit or a simple outfit.
I bought my first pair in Topshop & I was kindly gifted my second pair by The Hidden Gem.
So lets take a closer look at my fabulous two pairs.
So first up are my gorgeous Red Tassel earrings from Topshop. I'm so totally obsessed with these, they can be worn with absolutely anything. I first wore them with a plain black day dress & paired them with My fabulous Dune red handbag, it was such a colour pop it was fab.
Before these, I never used to really wear earrings, I've had my ears pierced since I was about 10, & literally for about 5 years in between I never wore earrings. Lucky for me my ears never actually closed up. Just in the past few months I've started to wear little hoops & now I've jumped for these bad boys. So for someone like me who doesn't really wear earrings. Theres nothing strange about these, I thought that they'd weigh me down hugely & just be uncomfortable. But they're just great & you absolutely slay any outfit any time wearing them. Wear them with confidence.
I just styled them simply here with dungarees & an off-the-shoulder T. I kept my outfit the same for showing off both pairs of earrings, just for an equal balance. Just genuine me kinda style.
And secondly are my fabulous pair from The Hidden Gem, which I was kindly gifted. I love these. There more of a general day-to-day wearable style. Again I paired these with the same outfit as above just to get a clearer picture on both styles. These are their "KIM" style & their just outstanding glam. Again their much easier to wear & easier to pair with outfits. I attended Electric Picnic Musical Festival last weekend (seriously who wasn't there) So on Monday when I was obviously very much so tired, I also had to attend my brother graduation. Luckily I had these gems waiting on my bed for me when I got home from the festival. I looked like an absolute mess & these ultimately just boosted me straight away. They completely changed me (well I think so anyway) I wore them with a pink & green white embroidered blouse & Levi jeans. They completely saved the day. I also wore them yesterday outfit for some afternoon tea (fancy I know) they went so well with my outfit as I wore blush pink shoes too. These earrings are definitely much easier to wear than the red ones, they go with more everyday type of outfits but can also totally dress up an outfit. I'm in love.
Also have I mentioned how gorgeous their packaging was, well it was glam, you're just going to have to shop from them to find out.
And so there you have it, my experiences with this fabulous trend & I can't wait to purchase some more.
